Day 1 Arrival Dhaka
You arrive at the airport in Dhaka and transfer to your hotel.
You will have the time to first take some rest before you make an introduction to this bustling capital city in the afternoon. 

Dhaka, the Capital of Bangladesh, founded in 1608 has an exciting history and rich cultural heritage. It is intersected by the rivers Buriganga. The total area of the city is approximately 1400 sq. km., with a population of 15 million. It was adorned with the glory of being the capital of the region when it was successively under the Mughal and the British rules. 

Dhaka is a chaotic city full of people and endless rows of rickshaws, cars, taxis, motorbikes, bicycles, street vendors etc etc. The 'rickshaw capital of the world' will take care of many jams; I also particularly patience and be amazed about how everyone finds its way. You visit the Lalbagh Fort, a 17th century Moghul palace that day is an oasis of tranquility in the city today. Especially popular as a meeting place of the local youth. At Sadarghat you see the boats and sail to bring people and goods to the other side of the river. If time allows, you will visit the Star Mosque and the Hindu Temple Dhakeswari.
Day 2 Dhaka - Jessore - Mongla
In the morning, breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and have a transfer to Dhaka domestic airport. You will take a flight from Dhaka to Jessore and from Jessore you'll have a transfer to Mongla.

On the way, you will cross the river and you can take a bike to go to a very remote village to see fishing with the help of otters. This is one of the oldest and rarest fishing technique, which only a few villages know.

After this, you will have a ride to Bagerhat, the mosque-city of the country. This also protected town Unesco, which has several special mosques of the Middle Ages. The most special and beautiful is the so-called '60 -koepelige mosque '; Shai this Gumbad mosque has 77 domes and actually looks like a fortified fortress. You will visit the mausoleum of Khan Jahan evenens Ali and several other 15th century mosques such as the 9-koepelige mosque and smaller mosques with one dome. The mosques are located in a beautiful rural setting and because there are many pilgrims there is always something to do

After lunch drive to Mongla. In the evening you step aboard the boat to begin the cruise through the Sundarbans. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and a first dinner on board. The cook cooks up a delicious meal of fresh fish and shrimp for you on the table. Overnight on board in small 2-person cabins, most of which have air conditioning.

Day 3 Sundarbans
At the middle of the night, the boat will start cruising towards the most Southern Eastern part of the forest at the edge of the Bay of Bengal Kali wildlife sanctuary area.

Early in the morning, you go on a small boat to sail deep into the kennels and explore the forest. In the early morning is the best time to explore the forest, you can get the closest to different birds and wildlife. The Sundarbans is the world's largest mangrove forest. You will find an exotic wildlife, including the Bengal tiger. The Sundarbans even has the highest tiger density of all the national parks in the world. Almost 10% of the wild tigers live in the Sundarbans, where they are notorious for devouring the regular people who live here! Besides tigers, there are more than 300 species of birds, otters, monkeys, crocodiles, deer, boars and river dolphins. Along the way during the trip you get several times the boat to take a walk through a village or switching to a small boat to reach the canals. Especially early in the morning, this tour on such a small boat breathtaking. Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the park. Spot the many species of birds and deer and a lot of luck we might see a tiger. Throughout the day the boat through the Sundarbans direction Chandpai. We sleep on the boat and enjoy the delicious meals that the chefs conjure forth.

After breakfast, you'll start preparing yourself for a 3-4 hours Mangrove tracking. A part of the tracking will be near the beach, the rest in the forest of the beaten and unexplored track. 
By lunchtime, get back on the boat and enjoy the rest of the forest, while sitting lazy on the boat. In the evening, the boat will start cruising back towards Mongla.

Day 4 Mongla - Jessore - Dhaka
Early in the morning, we will go close to the nature and doing some boat rides in silence to see the forest for the last time. 
After, you'll go back to the boat and have breakfast. After breakfast, you'll go to the largest fishing village in the sundarbans forest. It's a big village, we'll take a 2-3 hour walk through the village to explore the different way of living. In the afternoon, drive back to Jessore and catch the evening flight to Dhaka. 
In Dhaka, you have a transfer to the hotel.

Day 5 Dhaka - Srimongal
After breakfast, we will start driving 5 hours to reach the tea capital Srimongal. 

On the way you sop at  the ancient capital of Bengal empire (13th-17th century): Sonargaon, the 'Golden City'. The city still has some fantastic and monumental buildings from this time. we look at the former royal standards palace and wander through the old main street. It is not difficult to see the richness of this ancient city through the dilapidated gebeouwen. Endpoint of the day is Srimongal, the "tea capital" of Bangladesh. The town lies amidst the beautiful hills.

Upon arrival in the tea capital, we will have some rest. In the afternoon we will go for a 3/4 hours hike starting from the rain forest, to the tea gardens, to tribal villages via crossing some small hills. In the evening, we sit in a famous tea stall to enjoy the famous seven layers,

Day 6 Srimongal
Today we will wake up very early and start a 2 hour drive to on of the most famous trekkings in Srimongal, known as the Ham Ham waterfall rood. This is considered the most difficult treek in this region.
Hike through local villages, small and medium hills and of course the waterfalls. 
In afternoon, transfer back to Srimongal.

Day 7 Srimongal - Chittagong
Today you put a considerable distance down to the southern Chittagong, Bangladesh's second largest city and the largest port in the country. Along the way, you can then make a stop at a war cemetery and a Buddhist monastery, and you use the lunch in Comilla. In the evening you will arrive in Chittagong. In colonial times, lived here - in Calcutta after - most Brits throughout Bengal.
Day 8 Chittagong - Bandarban
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Sitakunda, the highest hill in the Chittagong region. You will do a off the beaten track tracking in Sitakunda. It will be a 5 hour track of climbing to the top of the hill and some mysterious black magic areas. In Afternoon, transfer to Bandarban hill district.

Day 9 Hiking around Bandarban
Bandarban is the least populated region of the country. It has a colourful tribal life and three of the highest peaks in Bangladesh. Before last year, the government forbid any foreign tourist to track to this 3 peaks. They only allowed climbing till Chimbuk hill, which is 2200 feet high. This is the region where the most tribal people are living.
You will track around this area to explore interesting tribal communities and several other villages. You will also have a boat ride on the Sangu river. This is one of the highlights in Bangladesh.

Day 10 Hiking around Bandarban
This day, you will continue the tracking through the Bandarban hill disctrict.
Day 11 Bandarban - Dhaka
After breakfast, you will have a transfer back to Dhaka. On the way, you can visit the old capital Sonar Gaan, you can explore the Panama City museum and some local villages.

After this, you'll be transferred to the airport to have an evening flight back home or you'll stay in a hotel in Dhaka and have a early morning flight back home.
